Our team is fortunate enough to have three great sponsors for our
weeknight league teams (detailed below). If you ever have the opportunity
to provide any one of them with business, please do so. Each has shown
a real commitment to their community and have been very generous to our group of
teams.
Clooney's Pub totally sponsors our
both our Thursday team in San Carlos and half of our league fees for both
Burlingame Monday teams. The site of our semi-regular team
parties, Clooney's has been responsible for some very good times (along with
some haunting hangovers). With two pool tables, darts, dice and a patio
for the smokers, Clooney's is a fun place to idle away an afternoon & evening.
While our usual hangout is the San Carlos location, there is a San Francisco
location as well for those of you based more in the city.
Peninsula Printing & Design began
sponsoring our Tuesday team in Foster City this past July. PP&D is the
perfect place to purchase all of your printing and promotional needs at the
lowest possible price from one source. Based in Burlingame, I've
seen firsthand the terrific job they perform with screen printing (our shirts &
sweatshirts are quality).
The New
Patio Bar sponsors our Friday team in San Carlos. My favorite
aspect of the bar is the real cool, partially enclosed patio area (hence the
bars name). Combine a delicious lunch menu, seven televisions on satellite
(including the NFL Season Ticket Package) with, most importantly, shuffleboard,
good times abound.
We're still looking for sponsors for
several of our teams. Fully sponsoring a team costs $725 a season (for Spring or Fall) and we'll name the the sponsored
team in honor of your business and link to your business on this page (along
with the front page of this website).
If nothing else, this website gets a great deal of traffic
and would lead to some increased exposure for your business. Its also a
tax deductible way to help out some decent guys. If naming a team after
your business isn't important to you (and $725 is too steep) but you would still like
to partially sponsor us, a $300 sponsorship will get you linked to us on this
page and the front page of our website (along with our sincere thanks).
